Hi, I am having trouble getting ESPN on my girlfriends Starview box. I have tried 2 automatic scans which havent pick it up. I was wondering if there was another way to get the channel or if anyone else has had this problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
press menu then choose factory setting,enter pin number(if your girlfriend never used a pin try 0000)now you should be back to installation so press ok and choose your cable supplier(ntl,virgin etc)then auto scan and when scan is finished press exit ,now with installation highlighted type in 1570 ,now go down to key emu and use the right hand arrow button to switch key emu to on.now exit back to tv channels and with any luck your channels will be there.by the way after doing a factory reset your clock will need to be reset to summer time and the pin number will be 0000 also you will need to set up any parental settings again.good luck with it.
I haven't re-scanned anything and get ESPN on the channel that was previously Setanta golf (and still called that in the channel list). Try doing a manual scan on 418.250 Mhz as this is the frequency showing on Ch*r*s in Kildare region but may be different in other areas/countries or with other service providers.
