    ok
    you can get a starview 1,starview 2 and starview 3(the box super)
    when you put them on they all have different set-ups
    the starview 3 also fixes itself and the channels are in order
    my mate,who had trouble with his starview 1 took it to to someone who updated it.its now the same as a starview 3 ,his starview 1 now refixes itself,and if you didnt see his starview 1 unit,you would think he had a starview 3.
    is that any better?

    you can put new firmware on your starview 1 box to ensure it autorolls if thats what you mean,basically all three boxes are the same but all use different firmware,so it would be impossible to use starview 3super firmware on a starview 1 box,if what you are looking for is firmware to enable your box to autoroll when there is a code change then we can help you.

    I think what he means is someone updated his box with rolling firmware and loaded a channel file to it for the Favourites and channels in order,

    Is this what you mean?

    Where u based?

    yeah that sounds right the way you have worded it,when you switch his starview 1 on,it looks like a starview 3.
    (the on-screen set up and layout)
    how do i do this to mine?any help would be great

    Then its one of two things, the inside is not a SV 1 but a reworked SV3 in a different case or the person who done it for him has opened the firmware, but I can stand corrected on this, not sure it can be done. Thats just my opinion as a SV1 can not run SV3 firmware unless either the box was modified or changed out, as the SV3 firmware will brick the Starview or THE BOX, like putting petrol in a diesal engine.

    yeah sure, I am just thinking he may changed the EPROM in the box also, but a bog standard SV1 would not even load up using SV3 firmware, it would brick it. So its either a reworked SV3 in a Sv1 case or the firmware has been hacked

    ah, what your talking about is autoroll firmware which rolls the keys, the channels are in order as this is a file loaded onto the box thats all, when the channels move, they wont change, only the Arnet and the SV 3 does this automatically. I was wondering when you were saying that it had SV3 firmware,

    Count the vents on top

    18x7 = Clone
    25x7 = Genuine
    13x7 = 1st Generation

    Also looking from the front
    Scart to the left = Clone
    Scart to the right = Genuine
