Hi I am having problems with the channels on the 355.550 frequency, More4, Sky sports 2 and 3 etc. They are coming up as bad channel or scrambled. I have tried doing a manual scan but still no joy. All the other channels are working perfect. I am in Dublin 20 on N*L. Anyone any suggestions how to fix this problem. Thanks in advance.
If you've tried a manual scan for them on that frequency and they still won't come in for you then it could be a fault with in your area,you'll just have to wait for N*L to fix it.
No bother Dub,I'm in Dublin 12 and they're coming in grand.I may be wrong on it but if all your other channels are working ok and you've done a manual scan for them and it's just these channels that aren't coming in then that's all it can be.If someone else knows otherwise they'll post here and will get you sorted if I'm wrong .
Maybe I am wrong and you mistyped the freq you are manual scanning on above , Heres the channels you should be having trouble with that are all on the freq 355.500 , Delete these channels in your list and then do a manual scan on 355.500 and these new channels will be found at the end of your channel listing Channel 6 More 4 Sky sports 2 Sky sports 3 Reality tv Adult chan Film 4 + 1 E4 + 1 Film 4 Set Sports News
Hi Celtic71 I have deleted the channels and put in the frequency 355.500 but the channels are still bad, the sound is ok but the picture is breaking up then goes on to bad channel or scrambled. Could it be the signal is not strong enough for these channels
Yep as I said Dub it's more than likely a fault on N*L's side in your area,it'll come back on working ok when they fix the problem which shouldn't be too long with a bit of luck.
just ring the nthell number and they will tell you what outages is happening areas, then you will know for sure
