starview box dead

    woke up this morning box seems to be dead i used to be on here alot for codes but found out how to do the key autoroll thing with the cable working fine had the box for a good while now just wondering if this the end of my box before i toss it please help

    its a clone box no message on display but defo power going to it used gtrom4.00 and 257ee api fixed this was ages ag not to do with that i dont think but what do i know

    is there a fuse inside the box the only reason i think there is power going to it is beacause when you try to turn the on switch at the back it makes a blip noise but its still dead

    looking like theres not much help on my problem thinking of just getting a new box whats my best option please help

    Disconnect your b0x from the mains and open it with a screwdriver, see if any capacitors are blown , if none are blown then you might have to jtag your b0x , JTAG requires a small amount of soldering (7 wires) Comes with cd with loaders and tsop files and diagrams.

    thanks i will give the jtag thing ago what is the jtag for why do you ned this when you did not before just asking also just incase i do mess it up which box would i go for if i got a new one
