    Hi all

Am new to this, so apologises if this thread has already been out there.
i have a starview box (grey original ones) and for some reason it has started to freeze on, when it freezes it reboots itself and then a digit comes up, volume ok, picture freezes, again reboots itself and another digit comes up, does this a number of times and then eventually it works fine, i had given the box back to the person i got it from and apparently he replaced the pcu as he said his was fautly. problem is that is happening again and its getting to that stage where i feel like throwing it out of the window.

Is there a way i can sorting this out

(seen a pic by martin-f regardinga c11 /c21 being replaced would that have anything t odp with it?)

Thanks in advance and appologies again if this thread is already out there

Hi Pav482. you did not say which box u have, is it the Starview 1 or Starview 2 u have. now it could be a voltage unit in the box as this use to happen to me. Watching tv and the picture would freeze ,and then go dead & power itself up again. It would heat up the little unit in the box & cut off the box & rebooth itself.IF not you could have a processor problem or just need new Software install. The lads on this thread know more than i do, they have worked on these problems before MICKAH May be able to help u on this.Or e45 & Mooley

OK.Pav482 grand. Hope u have some luck on this problem.
AS u know it only a matter of time before all these Boxes are consign to the bin. Due to the fact of Nagravision 3 starting to Roll out all over the UK. Shortly,Which is not hacked for a numbers of years now.

it is usually a cap issue overheating inside box look for a domed or leaking cap.
