starview box help needed

i updated my firmware on my box everything was fine says data was been updated no channels came on and now when i trn it on it comes up no signal have i done someting wrong or what i need halp and am lost without me footy

Coaxial cable into "cable input" at the back of the b0x.
If you`re in the uk, theres not much point really.

 

actually noel I was a bit harsh here. I know that some boxes have experienced a 'no signal' issue since this current encryption change. The ones I have had to fix would not work on different feeds in different houses and offered no reason for it. But a quick reset to factory default, power scan and manual code input soon fixed it.

 

so really what your saying with the current issue with the boxes been down there is nothign at all to worry about and when the new firmware is available i should start getting my signal back again as im worried i have broke my box by upating my firmware thats all cheers

 

You should be ok when & if theres a new firmware. Just hang in there like everyone else.

 

ok thanks for your help i just thought ad be clever because every single code i was putting in was still not working so i went to maplin and bought the leads to update stuff and me trying to be clever i thought i had broe my box as i have not got a signal or nothing oh wel ill hang on thanks for ya halp
