Starview Box Problems

    hi
    i turned on my clone starview box last and nothing worked, when i put in standby mode instead of the clock showing i get ramdon numbers showing.I did try to reinstall the flash but i could not get it to work.Can anyone help or is the bos history???????

    it say to remove cap 21 does this need to be replaced later by a new one?????

    No just resolder


    1.Remove the cap (c21) electrolytic near the ribbon on the psu board.
    2.Boot the box , it should boot to on and function correctly , the psu will hum ignore it , just let it boot to ON ,then turn it back off.
    3.Replace electrolytic cap (c11) 1000 mic @16v on the psu board , resolder (c21)
    thats it done.
