Have you checked that the Key EMU is on, Menu 1570 Cas System will appear down to bottom and turn to ON, apart from that then what is your location.

Make sure that you have a LIVE cable feed going into the Cable Input socket - Now try a Factory Reset and a fresh Installation on your provider and when finished turn on the Key Emu.

    • Press menu and go to installation OK
    • Select correct provider i.e. NTL, C/W or TW
    • Then automatic scan OK
    • Once the channels are found, exit back to the Main Menu screen
    • Now enter 1570
    • Go down to the bottom option and turn EMU to ON.
    • Now exit 3 times and go to S*y Sports and let it update.

You should be fine if you have the firmware from December on your box, if not then it will need to be updated.

    Hi

only sky indie, bbc news and few more channels are coming nothing else.. apart from full signals!

I have done everything and still its not working so it means the firmware needs upgrade. How should I update this firmware because I have no Idea the person who used to do that for me has left the country for good. If you can tell me how to update the firmware and where to get it from I shall be gratefull to you.

    Thank you

Right well first you will need a NULL MODEM Lead, so click on the link marked Eurovox at the bottom of my post and you will see what you require to update (Flash) your box with, it is a different box but exactly the same connectivity. Now as to the Firmware for your Box you will need to download the Crystar-1.5 >>>>>>>>>>>>>

    http://www.4shared.com/file/76381726/e8ad316e/CryptStar-v15.html

    The GTRom Loader v4.0 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>.

    http://www.4shared.com/file/49191796/3361714/GTRom_v400.html

Download and save to your desktop for ease of use.

    *********************************************************************

And Winrar to be installed on your computer to unzip the CryStar-1.5

    http://www.4shared.com/file/28733441/7c4273a7/wrar35.html

The CrypStar-1.5 contains two bin files Core400.bin for a genuine box and Core257.bin for a clone (Copy) box, if you are unsure then use the 257 it is perfectly safe for both okay. Now familiarise yourself with what you need and get the NULL MODEM Lead and click on the link marked Starview and you will find a tutorial as regards flashing the box (The Links Are Broken so don't bother trying them as you will have downloaded what you require up above) so have a look and get everything ready okay, I would advise you to get a loan of an old laptop or standalone PC with the correct 9 pin serial port with OP system XP as this will save you a lot of headache seeing as it is your first time of flashing.

Edit:- I was replying to your previous post - so it seems that you have the latest fix - very good all's well that ends well. :)

This is strange...I am in Harrow too and all mine suddenly stopped working today too. Will try a factory reset too and see if it fixes it. Is anyone aware of any changes that may have caused this?
    Thanks

Im told that Ntl havent started using N-3 yet , app they are using a blend of n-1 and n-2 . And app they won't pay to upgrade to n-3 as we are all switching to freeview soon enough . I seriously hope so as well lets face it , half the ppl of ireland wouldn't have bothered with sky if they had to pay 4 it , I mean its movies do nothing but repeat themselves ALL the time . And without setanta/espn sky's sports package is mediocre at best !!

thats strange then why movies and sports cannot be seen, and it has been confirmed they are on n3,and sky do have the setanta package.

I'm no expert but if they were using n-3 now we wouldn't have chelsea tv , sky sports news or sky ppv . all of which we do have .
