Starview Box Super "Rebooting"

    I have a lap top with Windows Vista and it has USB connection only. The NULL RS232 Cable that comes with the S**RV**W 3 BOX Super has female connections. I have bought a USB adaptor (LogiLink) but does not seem to be recognising the cable PLEASE HELP if there is a link I would appreciate it if I could be given it. Lastly what would be the firmware that does not make the BOX reboot constantly?

    it could be the cable that came with it that is bogey also the firmware to stop it rebooting is still under construction as far as i am aware but keep it here and you will find out also depends on the box you got like how old is it if it was a old one i.e when they first came out you should have 6.01 and if its new eith the extra tv connection you need 7.05

    6.01 on an older onre and if it still reboots it's actually 7.09 to fix rebooting NOT 7.05.

    i thought that 7.09 was what you meant. i know 7.05 and 7.09 are easily mixed up. some people even wrote 6.05 and 7.01 which don't exist lol.

    true true lol was wafflin to someone about the 7.05 ealier on durin the week and guess it kinda stuck in my head
