my star view box wasn't working so i've tryed refreshing the firmware and now when i turn it on it goes through the 4 dash's at the start and on the 4th on it stops it doesnt say on any more. and all i got on the screen is The Box logo any help lease

also make sure u have the correct firmware for that model as all 4 starviews have their own firmware!
well i've sorted out the problem but i think i got wrnog firmware! my box is one of the 1st ever ones. how do i find out witch is is? and what fireware to use? all it says now is a black pic and the number 8 on the front
Well if it is the first model then it is a Starview 1, if it says Starview at top left hand side, that is SV 1, if it says The Box that is Starview 2, simple as that.
