Hi guys/gals, i moved house recently and my Starview box worked perfectly when replacing NTL but after i moved i was given a new UPC box and now my Starview box wont tune in ??? Any ideas would be very much appreciated
You need to do a factory reset and autoscan again. Presuming you have the aerial, downconvertor and powerinsertor in place, i.e. MMDS kit.
have tried the factory reset and autoscan already and no channels tune in. I noticed that with the U*C box the lead goes into a power adaptor and then back out before going into the box where as with the old N*L box the lead went straight into the box.Would this have any bearing ?
Yes you need to replace the U** box with your box in the same manner and plug into the cable in port at the back of the box.
Hey Scouser , I have replaced the U** box with the box exactly as supposed to and all cables going where they supposed to etc to no avail.have you replaced the new U** box with a starview and have it work ?
