If you have a S******w 1 box then you will have to enter the codes in manually from now on as the auto update feature doesn't work anymore,if you have a S******w 2 'The Box' then press the 'menu' button on your remote, enter 1570 go down to 'Set default Key' and press 'OK',now exit completely out of the menu and you should find your channels back working

I have a Starview box and it worked fine for 7 months. On Wed. 2nd April it stopped working and just keeps updating data since and no channels are available. Have correct provider chosen and EMU is switched on. Have tried re-scanning several times with no luck. Can anyone help, please? Tanx..

you`ll have to input the codes manually for now until there is a new firmware.
    codes are here >> http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/528527

Tanx for the reply. However those codes are from June 2007. Are there up to date ones? Tried to get a Null modem cable to update the firmware and ws told they don't exist any more so what cable do I get to do this, please? Tanx again...

If you look carefully on the codes page you will see 3rd of april.
the firmware for st*rview 1 is no longer any use.
you`ll have to wait for the new firmware.

How do you connect the Starview to a computer? I have a new computer and it does not take Null Modem cables? Pete's in Parnell St. also say they are not available anymore anyway...Tanx again....(",)

if your pc does not have a serial port, you`ll need a USB to serial port adapter to use in conjunction with the null modem cable(DB9F to DB9f) which you can get in ma*lins accross from pe*ts on the same street.
Wait to see if the new firmware is available in the next few days on the forum, as the _400eE_ is no longer any use.
you`ll just have to input the codes manually for now.

One last thing. When the codes are no longer working and you need new ones, where do people get them from before they appear on Afterdawn??

n*l are using a different system to change the codes, thats why the b0x wont autoroll. mine autorolled today , but second time around it doesnt seem to be working.
just keep checking the main codes page for updates.
