starview/broadband

    does anybosy else have a problem with their internet connection when the starview is turned on??
    my internet doesnt work when mines turned on but is perfect when i turn it off at the back.

    any ideas?? it hasn't always been like thin :s

    Not heard of this prob myself before. How exactly is your Starview and broadband connected?? Have you a seperate connection for both??

    ive got a coax splitter on my wall connection, one to my starview, one to my modem. i cant think what it is!!

    Thats most likely the problem, having the 2 come from same box but Im sure there is others on here who have the same set up without a prob.
    Could be a dodgy splitter, sounds like it aint actually splitting the connection. I aint no expert though when it comes to that side so im sure someone will be along to help you out!

    ive got my starview running from a bb connection, just got a splitter attatched the the dooda wotsit (the big splitter that removes the noise from the line?) only got starview because havent got a aerial so i still get the fta chans :eek:D

    i always thought everybody just splitted from the same box, thought that was just the way to it. the boxes are capable of sending enough signal though as im using virgins splitter and its labeled set-top box / broadband for each exit.
