Hi I have just flashed the box with the fix. My system info: THE BOX API ver: 8.02e_E Boot ver: 7.0 30. Nov. 2008 Now this worked for me. Got all the channels (like usual). Went to download the channel dump on the desk top and opened up SVCE 1027 and tried to open the channel dump that I downloaded but it says "Access Violation at address 004E7F07 in module 'starviewchanneleditor.exe'. Read of address 0060CB92" and then it only shows like a few channels but they are all scrambled in sum type of code:-S This has NEVER happend before ... is it cos of the fix? It means I cannot sort my channels out which is really annoying .... Hope someone can help me out here ... what to do... PS: I have downloaded SVCE 1044 but it says the same thing ... Tried downloading an older channel sort that I did before adding the fix but when it finished downloading to my box I had to rescan my channels and back to square one. Is there another Channel sorter out there for Starview the BOx? Please Help PS: Scouser is the man and I am a fan Thanks dude and dudettes aka Mods for all your hard work ... very much appreciated
anyone come across this? Someone please help cos my channels are all messed up at the moment and its annoying lol
Youve got to use the converter and convert the channel dump to an old type then edit that then convert it back.
Hi Idan Erm, Converter??? I'll take a look in Emos's Library lol but is this 'Converter' already embedded within the SVCE?? or do I have to download it? WIll take a look now? Will it just be a case of putting a channel dump into the 'converter' and then selecting the new firmware? THanks for your help ... atm all my channels are alphabetically ordered which is a biiiig pain lol thanks a lot.
