Starview chip help

    hello there

    I got a clone starview 1 that i would like to chip to make it behave as a genuine box. if anyone out there knows something about the chip. Can we get that chip at Maplin. if yes what is it call? also please the Diagram+Instructions showing location of chip will be much appreciate

    Its the EEPROM and no your wont get it in Maplins.
