    Hi Guys

I just got my starview 2 box and have loaded the 4.5 firmware but when I go to scan I get nothing at all. In the manual scan window the signal meters are at 0%

I amstuck as to what to do with it now. Any ideas ?

Yep I am. When I do the autoscan I get nothing but failed beside the channels

I have the standard 13 or so chorus cable channels and I know that the address is digital capable. Is 4.5 the correct firmware ?

Im lost as to what to do !

No, not split in any way. I know it is a direct cable in as it was put in when I moved in. Everything is connected as it should be

I just know I am missing omething obvious !

Sorry karl for butting in,I know this has nothin to do with scanning for channels but Lab make sure you have the EMU on too for when you finally do pick up channels. Also I know certain parts of Nass haven't been upgraded to digital yet and can only recieve analogue channels so you could be in one of those areas but I'd doubt it if you are, that's me out (lol) back to you Karl ;)

Hey, thanks for giving me a hand here !

Someting strange happened hen I tried the manual scans. I got no channels but for a few seconds the signal meters went up and then went down again. Would that indicate that it might in fact be a cable problem ??
