starview clone dead help

    hi guys can anyone help?just got a starview clone from a mate and it power up and worked but pixels on screen and sometimes turned off tried to reflash with clone safe 257 but no good.took back off to clear up found some caps bent over so i put them straight bad move i know now,box will not power up and looks dead to me ,so guys any help please ?

    Easiest thing is to check all the caps again, especially the C11 cap on the PSU board.

    thanks for your reply,but have you a picture of were the cap is?and how do you take them off and were do you get them from?,could the problem be me moving some of the caps?,help help

    how do you take the caps off the board? and were do you resolder them?

    De-solder and re-solder as per pic, but as with all electrical equipment do so with care. Especially with capacitors, make sure they are discharged even with box unplugged.
