That file appears to be the same as the one I obtained from a different source. I have been assured that the one I have is the real deal, and it is also available from the site at the end of my post.
I have upgraded my clone with this file earlier today, and it's working fine.
As with everything, it's your own choice. If you are happy to go ahead and use it, do so. If you want to be cautious and wait for a few more days to see what happens, go ahead.

    The file is CryptStar-v1.4-Core257.bin

A hundred million apologies to all. I had a long day yesterday, and didn't realise I had pasted the wrong file name in here.

If you downloaded the CryptStar-v1.4-Core400.bin, Please download the correct Core257.bin now

    @ eamo32

I thought the clone friendly was the core257.bin file ... *confused look*

I know that ... but the question was for eamo32 ... the genuine sv file is CyptStar-v14-GenuineOnly.zip and the one for the clone boxes is CryptStar-v14-Core257.BIN on your 4shared.com site yes?

I just spoke to him regarding the clonesafe in the last hour after verification it was posted. And yes it is a "REAL" clonesafe release by SunRise.
