    Hi all,

I have had a Starview DSB for the last 8 months or so which was working fine up until last saturday evening approx 5.30 - 6pm when the signal was lost which happens from time to time..NTL were revamping / upgrading the network in the area D.13 as the reception was always bad,the SV never came back ( just a black screen with no message ) so we switched over to our normal coax feed ans straightaway I noticied the reception was much better than usual so i left it on for several hours but when i tried the SV some hours later i got nothing,no picture, no message about bad or scrambled signal even the EPG / software had disappeared of the box as if it had been wiped, on the display panel it just said On ,I have since tried to flash it both with the old version and lasted ( 2.57 ) several times , all the flashed were fine but wach time I power the box back on I get the leds scroll acroos for a split second then it comes up with one of the channel numbers for a split 2nd and then just says On, has anyone heard of this ?, I did see the fix with O or N on the display panel about bulging capicators after a power surge but this is not the case here

Thanks Car19, I take it you mean the software link provided by Eamo from his share (My 4shared/StarView/Software) the only one i can see that applies is STARVIEW-29LV160.rar as I have no idea what the zip files are for and the GTROM v4.00.exe as far as I know is just the firmware which i have tried about 6 times, even flashed it using 2.55 then went back to 2.57
