    Hi,

    I have 2 starview boxes

first box has 18 x 7 vents on top and scart on the left and power on right

second box has 13 x 7 vents and scart on left and power on right

inside the second box in the left hand corner where the 2x10 holes are theres little spikes sticking out of 1 row it and the first 1 hasn't.

does anybody know which 1 is clone or are both different types off clone???

I flashed them with the same software 257e & clonesafe auto roll, I flashed the the first 1 about 2 weeks ago and it froze then died about 4 days ago.
All power was lost and won't power back up for me at all..No leds light up but when i turn it on the tv goes to av for a second so theres a little power going to it

    Any help would be appreciated,
    Thanks

dont know about the other 1 but the 18x7 is defo a clone, it is advised that if your not sure then u should use the clone firmware as u done so dont know why it would die. mine is dead also but i never updated the firmware. tryin 2 fix it now, hitecs been keeping me right so read the starview clond died thread and c if that helps.

    Il look it up

I was told that I might have to replace components bt I looked at them and none off them are damaged.

I seen on a few forums that I might have to Jtag it but I would have a clue how to do that n dnt want to completly mess it up??
