starview codes help!!!!

my box went down yesterday and the new codes dont seem to work.

i am with ntl or virgin as they now are but channels only get picked up if i scan telewest or exc&w so i use exc&w.

i scan exc&w then turn the EMU on then change the codes under exc&w.
this i have done twice in the past month or so due to my box not auto updating but for some reason the new codes dont work when i change and save them its start updating then when i go back to the keys they have changed back to what they was before changing them.there are 3 diffrences on the 01 line but the rest are the same and i have saved them before exiting.
im in north west if that makes a diffrence any help would be appreciated very much i am new to this updating codes.
