Hi, I have been having trouble with my girlfriends starview box over the last week. Most channels have been lost and i have entered new codes that have been posted on this forum on 17 and 18/04/08. These codes have not worked for me. I have also tried entering them the other way round (01 first then 00). This also does not help. when i enter the codes and go to a channel i would have to pay for it does say updating, this then stops and the screen just stays black, however it will tell me the channel and what program is on at that time. Anyone got any ideas on how to fix this problem? Cheers Colin
with codes changing all the time u have wrong codes,if u enter correct ones and exit picture will come back on,u should think about upgrading firmware on box
me to i am afraid to say. Where can i get this update for my box and how do i do it?if anyone has an idiots guide that would be cool.It would appear the game is on with NTL.Mind you it took them long enough to work it out.Although blokes selling them openly in the local pub didnt help matters and can only mean one thing
