    "No Signal" indicates your incoming cable feed, check its in the "Cable Input" properly

    I have checked the cable, and it is pluged in well It will not pick up any channels at all after i set the langauge & use installation menus.

    Any suggestions on what could be the problem? I tried
    1. Scanning all Cable networks.
    2. Puttting in the latest codes in the 1570 hidden menu(although told this box would do it auto & they looked correct)
    3. Scannning manually
    4.Changed Key EMU to on.

    Try this method

    Menu > Factory Setting
    PIN 0000
    OK to delete

    Turn box off at the back for a minute and turn back on

    English > Installation
    Choose Provider etc
    Automatic Scan
    Press OK
    Channels found
    Exit

    Press Menu then 1570
    Turn EMU key ON

    Exit , exit , exit

    Doesnt really matter what firmware you have on it in regards to scanning for channels , the firmware is for updating the codes etc

    Are you running the b0x from the main feed or a splitter , check your cable is not damaged

    Press Menu > System Information and tell us what the API is please

    You will need to know if you have a clone or genuine

    Count the vents on top

    18x7 = Clone
    25x7 = Genuine
    13x7 = 1st Generation

    Also looking from the front
    Scart to the left = Clone
    Scart to the right = Genuine

    You will need the GTromloader, (Starvi*w Software Uploader), found in the Starvi*w software folder of the link.

    You will need version 4.00 firmware for GENUINES found in "Starvi*w" firmware folder.
    You will need version 2.57_FIXED firmware for CLONES found in "Starvi*w" firmware folder.
