Anyone help me??? i've maually searched and ato searched and got 288 channels available to me but none of the ones i was told i would get when i bought this thing, i get skysports3 and skysports extra but i want 1 and 2!!! also i get e4+1 but can't get e4????

Any info would be grately appreciated

sometimes this happens, for some reason it will not pickup every channel,

you can try it again

do a factory reset, then do a rescan


• Turn on the box, press menu and go to installation,

• Select correct provider i.e. TW, NTL, C/W,

• Then automatic scan

• Once the channels are found, exit back to the blank screen

• Press menu (ignore what is on the screen) and press 1 5 7 0, this takes you to a secret menu,

• Go down to emu and turn it on.

• Now exit and wait for it to store all the data.

• That’s it, have fun

 

ok, cheers, trying a re-scan at the mo... can't restore factory settings though - it doesn't recognise my 4 digit password? just another annoyance to contend with!!!

 

password is - 0000

 

AAARRRGGGHHHH!!!

The 0000 password doesn't work - i think i've been ripped off

is there some way of getting a password recovery???

please help me - i've had nothing but trouble with this bloody box so far....

try 2004 mate

 

Codes for starview:

Master Password: 1668
Access Cad menu: info, 2004 at parental control screen
or 1570 at main menu

use 1668 as a password to do a reset

 

i really appreciate all of your help...

the problem i am now faced with is that it keeps throwing up the "data is being updated" screen, it gets to 100% over and over and over but keeps going back to the updating screen and doesn't actually give me anything to watch on all the juicy channels like skysports 1 and 2

any ideas guys????

 

Also, after reading through several other threads i feel i should mention the fact that i have api 258, i have no idea how to change that - any chance of a bit of advice on how to change it to the more reliable api257???

all i want is to watch a bit of footy!!! extreme sports doesn't work either and i get it with the package i've got with my supplier it's really quite frustrating...

instead of just downloading your provider i do each one in turn,this does not erase the other ones but can add channels.also seem the newer boxes (inputs seperated from each other instead of being in one bunch seem to be better with the 259 software)
