    Hi,

I have been out of the loop for the last month as I've been away. Nothing worse than having cr@p channels since I've been back.
I need to update my n*l starview box in the Dublin area.
I have searched through the posts about frequency changes & no codes available but I'm not sure what to do. Do I need new codes before updating the frequency?
I haven't been downloading new firmware incase I download a corrupt file.
    Your help is much appreciated,

    Jimi-Floyd.

You dont need any codes before updating the version

You be as well off to do a factory setting first , then update version , then do a fresh installation , that way you will get ALL stations back to normal without having to manual delete and manual scan

    Menu > Factory Setting
    PIN 0000
    OK to delete

Turn box off at the back and connect to PC to update the firmw@re

When update is done , disconnect from PC and connect back to the TV

    Press OK to select English
    Installation
    Choose Provider etc
    Automatic Scan
    Press OK
    Channels found
    Exit

    Press Menu then 1570
    Turn EMU key ON

    Exit 3 times

You should be sorted and have ALL back to normal :)

As suggested by Celtic 71, if you click just below her signature it will bring you to safe, tried, and tested downloads.

    Hi folks,

I need help. I'm not technical at all. Just bought a Starview and want to get it working on N*L in Dublin. Do I just follow the instructions in the leaflet that came with it or do I need codes? I'm a bit of a numpty tech wise so any help (please basic if possible) would be gratefully received! Thanks.
