Hi! I`m a newbe and I`m after someone with some technical info. I am a service technician and I`ve had one of these Starview (The Box) boxes brought to me for repair. It`s completely dead (ie No Display), However, When I checked the PSU, ALL the supplies are present. If I heat the unit it up, it comes on. I presume it`s one of the caps on the mother board since the PSU is running, but it won`t go off now and I know that it will go off again as soon as I send it back to the customer. I think it is a reset problem but I haven`t had any dealings with these boxes before yesterday. Please help. One engineer to another. Ian
is it a clone if the wrong software was put on it it would kill it. private message scouser or fergusrb there experts on starview
