Starview - EPG no longer works - System date reset

Hi All

Please can anyone help me with this - tis driving me mad!

Basically since I updated the firmware on my Starview 1 box (which worked like a charm!) the EPG no longer works, the reason seems to be because the system date is set back to Jan 2001. All channels are working fine though and i've been thru all the menu settings to see if there is a way to change the date, can find options to change the time and region settings but not date..

 

epg is a bit of a joke at times,power off box at back for a min then on usually fixes it.

Ok have tried the power down and but it didnt make any difference, the date is still set to Jan 2001! Also tried re-installing the new firmware but no joy!

Any other suggestions?

it usually works try another ch maybe a stronger signal,does ur box autoroll codes yes try set default key ok,exit codes update -time adjusted ok??
