Hiya i need help from anyone who can help please I have a starview 2.57e_E it is working but i am missing a few channels (especially cbbc and cbeebies for ma kids) i have downloaded GTrom4 and the firmware that i thought would work. I think my box is a clone because it looks like the clones in the pictures even though the box it came in was real. I got the firmware that was a 2.57e fixed version but when i try to download it just says flash failed. can anyone help me find the correct firmware :O) its 2.57e_E boot ver: 7.0 16 aug 2006 thanks for the help
If you have not got a clone starview put v4.00 onto it ! its the updated firmware which autorolls ! click on the eko.4 link under my post, then click on starview, then firmware, and download 'STARVIEW_H20070607_400eE_api.bin' open up your gtrom loader and use that. you have to make sure u are using a 'null modem cable' to connect ur pc to the starview ! and try that..
