hi, can anyone help? i think my clone starview box needs re-flashing, the screen keeps turning green and it keeps resetting. something similar to this happened about a year ago and a new flash install sorted it! the software i used then was on my old pc. so i've re-downloaded the GTRom Loader v41.00 and have tried installing some new Bin files via a usb RS 232 cable but i keep geting errors or problems! can someone help me sort this?? cheers
you need the GTRom v4.00. The firmware you need is the Crypstar v 1.4 - Core 2.57 bin (for cloned sv1) You also need a null modem cable.
I`m having a simlar problem, i have flashed my starview 3 super box with no problems and configured it to play all channels, this was fine for about 5 hours then it turned itself off and rebooted. All i have now is a box which when i turn on, is ok for 30 seconds, then reboots itself! please help - i don`t think it is the gtromloader 7.09e i have installed because it is the same one which i have put on another box - please please help me!!!!
