starview flashing

orate there,first message could anyone out there help,i have a box that was flashed with v3.00 and all it does now is have the green lights flashing across the front.tryed to flash with all other versions including 4.00 and wont even begin to download to box,any clues me head is pickled,cheers

 

The lights flashing is normaly a sign of a bad flash, try a factory reset then reflashing with the 400.

when you flash check that the counter on your starviw box is the same as that of the download progress bar on gtrom.

I found that the 300 froze a lot and the bad channel message came on a lot but running the v400 theres no freezing and very rarely a bad channel message but even then it only stays on for a fraction of a second.

 

hiya thanks for reply have tryed to get menu up on tv but box wont do nowt jus keeps flashing at me,ive tryed all the versions even 4.00 with stil no joy any more ideas please

 

turn it off connect the cable.then turn it on,now reflash.

 

tryed that mate even had pc off and box on when turn pc on,me heads shot av managed to do 15 with no problems,ive even tryed a box to box flash stil no joy,sorry

 

turn off your box have everything ready to flash.turn it back on and before the green lights come on press download the % should move on screen and there ahould be no lights on the box.flash with 2.57

nah mate stil no joy ready hit it with hammer,it dont seem like a clone at all so cona understand it

 

i can't understand it,its still alive because of the lights but won't take a flash.

 

thats right mate ah,the lights flashing pretty quick across the front so stil got power tryed all your links for versions and still nowt it aint my box i got dbox2 never had any problems with that these aint up to much really,i jus duno wat to do tell my mate it needs taggin or sumat.

 

when you try to flash what does it say on your computer?
does a % bar pop up?
have you got it connected proper?

 

yeh i get %bar and is all hooked up properly ah,i av dun 2 others this morn then this 1 i duno just duna want to knowcrackin me up.

 

does the % move

 

try changing the com port on gtrom loader

 

no mate waits few secs then flash failed pops up

 

stil no joy mate am i best giving up

 

i have opened it up and all the black chips seem to have korea on them does this indicate that its a clone
