Just got a starview. Ran an auto scan and it seemed to pick up the channels. When I go to watch them it says scrambled or bad channel. The system info I have for my starview is: API ver:2.58e Boot ver 7.0 10.Nov.2006 I tried to enter the updated codes but I cant access the secret menu. When I press menu, that comes up, but nothing happens when I type 1570?? Any help appreciated. Im in Dublin on the N*L network.
you need to change the api to (2.55,2.56,2.57,2.59,3.00).then you can enter the secret menu.you need a null modem cableif you live in the city centre of dublin you can buy one in peats (thats where i got mine)16euro.then you need gtrom loader and a new firmware i suggest (3.00)you can get these online.
