if its the starview 4 USB that is all you are likely to get on that box so all your scanning ect will be of no use to you

New poster to the forum and have an issue with the Box PVR. In Ch*#us land in Dublin and am lucky not to have been affected by the n3 rollout (yet) - everything has worked fine, up till now. Basically have the Box PVR upstairs, the Box Super downstairs - downstairs unit working fine - all channels. A few days ago, some of the lesser channels went missing from PVR unit upstairs - this has happened before, but not usually a big deal - normally solved with reset, auto scan etc. This time though, things went awry - scan looked normal - all channels picked up, full signal, but only picture with a few of the channels( rte1, sellotanta, euronws). All looks normal (EPG, on-screen channel info, signal strength etc) but no picture. C@des are good (same as in the working unit downstairs), re-installed firmware (3.105), re-scanned numerous times (Auto update on) but no luck.Only thing of note is during scan, as the chnls are found, some chnl names are in yellow text, some in white text - white text chnls are the ones which are working, others are not. No "bad or scrambled channel" msg or anything like that - just a blank screen.

Apologies for the long winded post - trying to get all the info in to give one of you guru's a shot at solving the problem. Regardless, thnks for all the previous guidance provided on the site - top notch....

No mate there is not there is no C**** allowed on this forum any longer so you need to update your firmware on your box

also if you are on N** in ireland the likely hood of you getting any more than 10 channels is unlikely
