Just recently bought a starview from fleabay, and its dead , ( i new this when i bought it) just wondering is there any way to "JTAG" it ive tried, but with no luck, on the box its got pins insted of pads. any ideas guys

Thats because you are using firmware as a TSOP file. You could try the SV1 TSOP and see if that works.
ive tried "tsop flash bin" with no luck, where would i get the one you mentiond ? any idea how i can revie the dead starview with pins the jtag ive got doesnt work... also sc0user ive recently jtagd anothe starview with pads all went well untill the picture came on , with o ut sound on every channel any i dea pal ? thanks
have you tried to do factory reset after you flashed the box and the boxes with pins are just like the ones with pads so as for jtagging them its the same principal
Hi thanks for the reply, After ive "Jtaged" (TheBox) it i still get no power on the box its got pins . and on the other starview box with pins the jtag wont work. im confused
