hi all, have starview box channels gone, tried to put in new c**des but key number is on 01 first which is strange enough but when i go to change to 00 the letters FFF appear, tried putting in 00 by pressing 0 and put in c**des as normal, no joy, no channels(emu is on)friend suggested putting c**des fr 01 line on 00 line and vica versa done that, no joy(emu on) done a factory reset, again emu on, all channels appeared but when i exited bk, getting 'channels updatng...) this going on all day, anyone any ideas. thanks in advance
Do a factory reset and then do an autoscan, Have you flashed the box or are you still manually doing it?
Those days went out with the Indians LOL!!! Best thing you can do is update your firmware, then you will be sorted!!
its actally my bros box, mine have been done, his have never went all the times that we wer having problems before putting the firmware on, this is his firt time he ever had problems, nothing that can be done temporariy till he gets it done? euro final soon, ha no quick fix available? does the 'ffff' mean that its completely unfixable till he gets firmware done or wat?
If you have a box thats working and they are both the same (check system info) then you can do a data transfer from box to box, all you need is the null modem cable!
havent got the null modem cable, but i know a guy that does ha. cheers anyway, gona get my buddy to go down and update it for him,easiest solution.thanks again
Press Menu then 1570 and press the "Set Default Key" , press OK , then go into Nagravision and input the codes , press OK to save each key data , Exit 3 times and tune into S*Y Sports and it should update for you
