starview No channels found

    hi all,
    can someone help me. i have just got the starview 3 box and cannot get it to work. trying with n*l and am testing it in friends room that has one that works. whenever i go to installation > automatic scan it just scans through the frequencies and comes up with 0 channels. looks to be setup same as friends box and has EMU turned on. Can someone please advise on what i can do.

    nope a friend did it for me.
    is there a way to check if it was done properly.

    you are showing all the signs of no firmware loaded!!
    what firmware did he put on it when he flashed it?
    will you press menu ... system info, and tell me what it says
    where abouts are you?

    lcd display on box says boot then ld80 and then tv screen shows language selection

    could also be a bad flash,are u scanning from main feed and not thru extensions.

    is the box new or second hand,does the label on front left of unit say box super?and ur friends box is working what name of box does he have
