Starview no power

    Hi new to this,bought thebox2, 2 months ago on ebay from a good feedback seller 12 months guarantee,stopped working ie no power,got in touch via their website was sent an email regarding returns in the small print which was not on ebay,I have to pay for repairs? +£15.00 postage.Surely this is not right on a new? electical item.
    Any thoughts

    well if you want to try fix it yourself i had a similar problem and it was the cable inside had become loose, so i took the cover off and reseated the cables inside (while it was plugged out of course!!) and that sorted it, otherwise your prob better off buying a new one!!

    Your box is still under warranty and as such you are entitled to a repair, refund or replacement and at no additional cost to you.

    Cheers for replies.I thought I was right just because it's a starview box dosen't mean they can con you into paying for repairs.

    Doesnt matter what type of box it is you are still under warranty.
