starview not finding any channels !!! help

i just got a starview box and it cant find any channels !!! any one able to help????

yea but it keeps coming up 0 channels found

im not sure if i have the right codes in ive tried 2 different ones and nothing

do i search with the emu on or off? ive tried both and nothing

 

search with it on,make sure you have ur pipe connected into the cable connector,go into menu and an auto scan,wen complete make sure you save then exit

 

if you can't get it on n** try a different provider .

 

tried them all ryan and i cant even get a signal from them,there was a lot of ten boxes doing the rounds and every one today is ringing each other saying the same thing that they are down to 2 channels now,whats going on.

 

do i plug the pipe into the cable in or the ant in? what codes do i need?

 

cable in,go to the top of the page and type in starview and search it,yhat will take you into all the updated codes

 

you don't need the latest codes to get the channels just to view them don't put the keys in until you got the channels.
make sure the cable from the wall is in the cable input on the back of the box.if you can't get the channels on your provider try a different one.

it could be you provider is down is you basic tv still working?

 

yea if i plug it into the tv i get the normal channels

 

make sure you have the cable in the cable input not in ant input

 

yea i do i tried it in both coz i wasnt sure which one. then i put back into the cable in

 

its a bit weird,have you got a starview or the box.and what firmware you on

yea its a starview and its version 4.0
