hi im trying to update the software on the starview have all the software and im useing a null modem cable to usb but when i click download it says cant open serial port any ideas.thanks
yeah i done my eurovox a few weeks ago but my da wants his starview done now com2 isnt in use but still nothing
look in here third post down http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/663923 and you need to change to com 2 on the gtloader
so you have tried the com ports in the loader then you have go into my computer and go to propeties and hardware and go to device manager and see what com port your adaptor and change it between 1 and 4 till you find the right one and do the same in the loader till it matches
that seems to be downloading now.and can you tell me this my internet wont work at home it seemed to have stopped after i done my eurovox.could me changing the ports like that have any effect on that
dont think so you propably have a subscription to bloody n@l whose braodband service is as bad as its tv!
yep im in front of telly watching sweet f all and just answering threads even though i was meant to be else where an hour ago but its all good what else could i be watching with the prem league over
yeah my mate had n*l broadband and it wasnt working for 5 days last week had to get someone out disgraceful service
some areas are worse than others give them a ring and see if there is a problem in your area be prepared though for a 2 hour phone call
