Can anyone please help me, I have been given plenty of advice on here from Scouser and fergusrb, and I am really grateful. My starview original box has had a bad flash, I can't put it on standby, it wont power up, however when I connect to my PC with the null modem cable and go through everything with the GTROM it goes at the end 100% then flash burning, after waiting for the box to power up I get a pop up box saying failed flash retry and it's been doing this for two days. Is my starview knackered?. By the way I have tried all the firmware from 255 up to 400.
Those guys are really the best to speak to, it may be corrupt firmware you are trying to load I would download firmware from another source see how you go with that... it could take a few attempts though when sending it to your box. KMAC.
