starview picture

    the picture in my starview box is freezing for a few seconds then returning, this is a constant problem, any tips?

    press menu system info and see what firmware you have on your box and post back

    thanks for the reply, it says api ver:2.57e_E and boot ver:7.0.

    yuo may change the firmware if you like but you may have a clone,check and see 18 vents = clone
    25 vents = genuine
    13 vents = 1st generation

    vents are the slits on the top of the box from top to bottom

    left scart = Clone
    Right scart= Genuine

    yeah it's a clone, does that mean i can't update it?
