Starview, Problem - Help Needed

    Hi,

    Set up the box on the weekend all worked well. Today Sky Movie channels say "No Signal" and most of the others are breaking up image /sound.

    Anyone with fix.

    If it was working ok for you at the weekend and just today it's breaking up on you then it sounds like it could be a fault in your area on your providers side,it'll fix itself.
    Just out of interest what API version have you got on your box ? you can find this out by pressing the 'Menu' button on your remote and selecting 'System Information' from the menu.

    That's ok you have the latest firmware installed on the box so it's not because you need to update it that is causing your channels to break up,it's a fault there's nothing you can do but wait until your provider fixes it and the channels will come back as is what normally happens.

    If your in ireland you should have 4.50 firmare on the box

    That's true, I presumed that since he said 4.51 that he was in the UK.

    Didnt mean to be nosey co19 just when i saw the name cucullen,had a couple sent to me with 451 on them

    I thought that he was in Ireland too with that name but then when I saw he has 4.51 I thought otherwise I just assumed he knew about 4.50 for Ire and 51 for UK- it was a good job you said it cause he may be in Ireland and may not be aware that he has the wrong stuff on his box ;)

    Hi Lads,

    Thanks for the info. Im in Dublin. So I need 4.5 any links to it. Also all channels are now gone.

    You reckon the firmware change will do the trick.

    hi all channels were running fine on my current firmware. I plugged back in my ntl box and that is not working. Those ntl clowns are sending out an engineer.

    I think the firmware may be ok. KG what firmware are you running.

    Sounds like it's a fault alright if your N*L box isn't working either but regarding the firmware you need to have ver 4.50 on The Box for it to work as it should.
