Quite hard to fix without a remote, I presume you have checked the batteries. What does it say on the front display of the Starview?

No signal means a cable fault, either with your provider, or a loose scart/coax lead.

Have you tried the remote on that box? Or is it just a providers box?

Maybe just a loose ir connection, but I cannot help you that much unless we can get the remote to work.

No problem, if the remote works on your other Starview, you can open up the faulty Starview and check to see if the IR connection is loose.

Worth a try and if you fix that we may be able to get the box up and running.

    Good luck anyway ;)

Sorry before you look for a loose connection. If you have a mobile phone with camera, switch it to camera mode. Point the remote at the camera lens, and you should see the infra-red LED flashing on the screen. If you don't see it flashing, then yes, the remote is dead.
