Hi Guys I have the SV Pvr a couple of months now and recently it's been giving some hastle.It seems to only want to record when it feels like it and shows an error that the hard drive isnt installed. Its seems to be random too,one day it'l be fine the next it wont work.I've reflashed the box a few times and teh problem persists,i opened it back up and all connections to the HD ect are good and sturdy,i've tried to format the hard drive on the offchance of it being detected but the menu just seems to freeze. The cable end is fine with no problems there,has anyone any ideas as to what the problem may be or a solution? Thanks

could possibly be a faulty hdd if the re-flash like jbvideo said doesnt work. try taking it out and putting it into a desktop computer if possible. Youll be suprised how unreliable hard drives can be these days.
Thanks Guys Im going to try a reflash again with the latest firmware and see if i've any joy,if not ill get another hd and try it out. Incedently is there any known or simular problem with the box pvr to what im having?
recording can sometimes be unreliable, but never experianced any messages regarding hard drive connection errors. sounds more and more like a hard drive fault my friend, is it making any sort of unusual noises e.g clicking?
