Hello ive got a bit of a problem with my starview pvr, set up did a auto scan picked up chanels, some missing ? some chanels ive recieved cant be viewed they say scrabled, one thing ive noticed is the chanels that i cant view have a $ symbol next to them ? also ive heard that you need to put codes to the box sometimes i have these but dont know what to do, quite alot i know, any help would be great.
Go to parental control in receiver menu press ( i or info button) + (2007) key and emu buttons should now be visible switch key emu to on position go to scrambled channel and wait for update .

hello that worked a treat the blank programs have now been descrambled very pleased thank you very much just one other thing still missing a couple of chans cbbc if i cant this my kids will go ape any ideas?????????????

You could still tray a morning scan as suggested or try to find the frequency from a friend or relative in your area then do a manual scan for just that frequency, do a 'Channel Data backup to HDD' from the HDD Interface menu first. jbvid
