    Hi All,

Nice to actually write a post on this forum for a change, what a fountain of knowledge this place is! Thanks for all the excellent posts.

I have been using a starview pvr for a couple of years and yes crapped! my pants when it all went down at christmas! what a time to go down but updgraded firmware all ok and all was well...only until I turned the device off and back on to find it booted to the "installation screen" so had to rescan for all the channels. This happened on another box that I "help" a friend with, very odd. I ended up buying a starview pvr usb, but am getting tired of the really really bad audio lag it gets say after 30-40mins of watching and changing channel doesn't help!
Does anyone have a remedy for stopping the starview pvr (twin tuner) from forgetting the settings? I have not tried reformatting the disc as I didn't think it would help.

Any help would be great, I want to blow the dust off it and get some use out of it again as I never got any audio lag from it!!

    Cheers

    Fatboy :O)
