Starview remote

    Hi can anyone offer a solution to a remote problem for a Starview Thebox super?

    The remote control doesn't seem to be working. When any buttons are pressed a symbol "PP" appears on the screen but nothing happens...

    Any ideas?

    Never heard of PP appearing on screen. What firmware version are you using on the Super?

    Morning...

    pretty sure it's thebox_UK_H20070709_451eE_api I have that software working ok elsewhere too.

    I wonder if it's something dumb like the remotes been dropped or something...

    Maybe have you checked it by pointing it at a phone camera.Point the remote at the camera lens and press some buttons, and you should see the infra-red LED flashing on the screen.
