starview rookie

i am getting a box shortly if i download gtrom loader and connect computer to starview using null modem cable is it idiot proof to change codes when scrambled.i am new to this and would appreciate any advice

You dont need gt rom to change the codes , you need it to upgrade the firmware and that will auto roll the codes for you

 

does that mean if the starview goes down that will solve the problem

Yes , if you update to the latest firmware you wont need the codes

You just need to know if its a clone / genuine or Starvi*w 2 (THE B0X)
