When i do an automatic scan for channels it starts with (1/34) and scans upto (34/34), TP 1, 2, 14, 22, all scan as ok, but all the others list as failed and only gives me 63 channels including radio. Using genuine starview 1 box API ver:4.00e_E Boot ver:7.0 7.Jun.2007 Cheers in advance
Try this method as a good few transponders fail Menu > Factory Setting PIN 0000 OK to delete Turn box off at the back for a minute and turn back on English > Installation Choose Provider etc Automatic Scan Press OK Channels found Exit Press Menu then 1570 Turn EMU key ON Exit , exit , exit
are u scanning from main coaxial feed straight to box?and sometimes u have to do a number of scans to find all stations
Yes i am using the main coax connection, i removed the splitter on the box outside just to see if the splitter was faulty, i have also tried my ntl box and channels are ok, just that some of the channels that are missing are ones i subscribe to from ntl. Will keep trying to scan on and off over the next few hours. Cheers for your suggestions.
starviews at times lazy factory reset english power off box for a min,on english autoscan etc,if u dont get all channels ,start again might take u 6 or 7 times to get all channels, like a kick in the arse to get u going.
hi scouser did u scare everybody away ,i was looking for thunder and lightning lol,and noticed other site up and running again, have u noticed a few people having pixelation problems on boxes due to inferior coaxial cable?
Cheers for your help folks, decided to use a sledgehammer to get it to work, won't scan any channels now, so invested in a starview 2 everything fine now scanned over 400 channels. Steve
