    Hi steo46,

Thanks for that, although I think I may need to update the starview box from the current version 2.56e as I read in one of the forums that the secret menu does not appear on this version(Not 100% on this).

    Regards

    Gavin

    Hi steo46,

Sorry to be so dumb at this, I tried your two suggestions and can't find the secret menu, the actual version is 2.58 if that makes a difference. Within the parental control there is no second pin option just enter old pin, enter new pin, confirm new pin and menu lock. It accepts your code 1668, but just resets this number as my new pin. I think I may have a dud box :-(. Thanks for your assistance all the same.

    Try these methods

    press menu followed by 1570

    or

    menu
parental control then press info followed by 2004

if these methods do not work you will have to flash with an older firmware preferably 257.

    Cheers steo46,

Thanks for all your help hopefully one of these methods will work, if not as you say I will have to install firmware 257.
