Starview Software Problem

    A week ago I updated my Starview using GT Romloader 4.00 with Crypstar v1.4 Core 4.00 (Genuine Only) Firmware, which was a complete success.
    After the first chage of codes by Telewest, everything rolled up with no problem. However this latest change in codes did not update, but did work when I entered the new codes manually.
    Have I loaded the correct files, if so why didn’t it rollup. Any help would be greatly appreciated - thank

    sometimes the box needs a little kick meaning if it dosn't update you go to menu 1570 and press ok on the set default key then exit to a premier channel and it should be ok.

    first off who's Khalid?lol that should have worked try it again sometimes it needs 2 go's and a bit of patience ;)

    At my age the eyesight is the second thing to go (sorry Karljd).

    Just a line to THE MESSIAH & DELB to let you know that I have solved my problem, and that you were correct in your recommendations.
    For you benefit when dealing with rank amateurs like myself, where I went wrong was in assuming that when the percentage update message got beyond 100%, it had failed. Eventually when I just sat back scratching my nuts, I was amazed to see that at 200% completion it suddenly kicked into life.
